Bus driver training for transport of PWD

ET facilitated and participated in collaboration between bus drivers learning to transport school age disabled children (some non-verbal) and a business associate with multiple disabilities acting as a stand in for the kids. To a disabled child, their school bus driver can be a key part of their day. Having a volunteer disabled adult available who provided immediate verbal feedback to the drivers during the lift operations and wheelchair tie down steps was invaluable. All benefitted and enjoyed the two days, hands on work.
